LOGJAM FESTIVAL
LogJam Festival Activities
August 9-11, 2024
Mischief & Magic
Jake's endless passion for entertaining makes Mischief his full time gig. Renee has been performing circus acts for most of her life. She began with her uncle Jim in "The Big Circus Sideshow". Classically trained in theater and music, Renee uses her skills with theater to help develop Mischief & Magic's performances. Together they bring high energy to their performances and truly love to connect with the public.
Wisconsin River Rollers
Log rolling, sometimes called birling, is a Sparring Sport involving two competitors, each on one end of a free-floating log in a body of water. The athletes battle to stay on the log by sprinting, kicking the log, and using a variety of techniques as they attempt to cause the opponent to fall off. The sport originated in the 19th century as a way for lumberjacks to test their agility and footwork while working on spring log drives. We are excited this year to welcome the Wisconsin River Rollers as another featured event at the Little Bull Falls LogJam Festival. This event will become an annual invitational competition starting next year at LogJam 2025.
Voyager Canoe Rides
LogJam visitors will be able to experience a rare opportunity to ride in a 28 foot voyager canoe, an exact replica of the canoes used on the Wisconsin and Fox Rivers. The voyager canoe will be on display throughout the weekend with presentations on the many uses and the construction of this amazing vessel.
